HENDERSON – Nevada State University’s Scorpion STEAM Academy is now open for summer 2025 enrollment, inviting young learners across the Southern Nevada region to immerse themselves in a dynamic educational experience blending science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Designed for students entering third through eighth grade, the STEAM Academy offers week-long sessions that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Students participate in hands-on activities that fuse science, technology, and the arts, empowering them to explore, create, and innovate in courses guided by expert instructors who foster a supportive and inspiring learning environment.
Each session runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning June 2 through July 25 on Nevada State’s vibrant Henderson campus, with flexible options available for “Before-School” and “After-School” programming to support busy families. The STEAM Academy’s diverse curriculum is tailored to different age groups, ensuring that students build new skills, make friends, and have fun while preparing for future academic success.
