
RENO, Nevada – Nevada Women’s Fund (NWF) Corporate Scholarship Program allows businesses to align their workforce development, diversity and corporate giving goals with NWF’s Scholarship program. For 40 years, NWF has been building a legacy of investing in women and families through educational scholarship, and now the organization is proud to recognize corporate donors who contribute to this impactful mission.
“Our corporate scholarship partners are not only supporting women and families of Northern Nevada, but also fostering a culture of philanthropy, education and community within their organizations,” said Ila Achtabowski, NWF President and CEO.
Nevada Women’s Fund celebrates the following corporate partners for their significant investment in the education of women today and philanthropic leadership in our community.
AT&T Nevada – AT&T Nevada invested more than $10,000 in NWF’s endowed scholarship program ensuring academic scholarships for women living in Northern Nevada and pursuing higher education.
Tesla – Tesla invested $55,000 in NWF’s endowed scholarship program, which will award scholarships for high school seniors in Northern Nevada who plan to study in a STEM-related field at a Northern Nevada school. Tesla scholarships come with mentorship from the Women in Tesla group as well as paid internships in students’ later years of education.
Dolan Auto Group – Dolan Auto Group celebrated employee Sandi McKee by investing more than $25,000 in NWF’s endowed scholarship program. The Sandi McKee Legacy of Loyalty Endowed Scholarship will provide scholarships to first-generation students attending post-secondary education and/or professional trade development programs.
Persing Professional Group (PPG), LLC – The PPG Accounting Education Endowed Scholarship will fund scholarships and paid internships to women studying and pursuing careers in the fields of business or accounting.
100% of all endowed scholarship donations made to NWF directly benefit women pursuing higher education in Northern Nevada. Each endowed scholarship is customized to reflect the unique and diligent efforts of the corporate donors who make these scholarships a possibility.
