RENO, Nev. – The 2023 Nevada Women’s Fund (NWF) board of directors announces the selection of executive officers and names eight new board members to the organization charged with championing the needs of local women and children. Celebrating its 40th year in 2023, NWF has awarded more than $9 million in grants and educational scholarships to women throughout northern Nevada.
Executive officers serving a one-year term include board chair Jill Johnson, director of communications at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School; vice-chair Courtney Sweet, attorney Gunderson Law Firm; treasurer Craig Wesner, retired civil engineer; recorder Danielle Eaton, director of clinical research for the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine and Renown Health; and immediate past chair Sarah Crumby, CPA for Cupit, Milligan, Ogden & Williams.
The eight new members to NWF’s board of directors are: Angela Bradley, vice president – small business team lead at Nevada State Bank; Ben Calingaert, shareholder at Persing Professional Group; Cynthia Osborn, chief operating officer for Assured Partners; Frankie Vigil, business development manager with Lumos & Assoc.; Kara Harris, assistant vice president, business banking at First Independent Bank; Kara Martinezmoles, vice president of revenue cycle at Renown; Laura Nelson, audit manager with Eide Bailey; and Nicola Neilon, shareholder with Casey Neilon, Inc.
All members of the board serve staggered six-year terms. Additional current board members include:

Maraccini, principal CX advisor at Medallia; Andi Cassinari, anchor/reporter for 2News; Candace Borrego, corporate banking group, senior vice president at U.S. Bank; Earstin E. Whitten, president and founder of Soulful Seeds; Emily Farren-Wieczorek, co-founder of Ashley & Emily lifestyle blog; Erica Mirich, executive director Truckee Meadows Tomorrow; Gretchen Sawyer, executive director of the TMCC Foundation; Jen Eastwood, director of public relations at Good Giant; Katie Nannini, manager of community relations at NV Energy; Kelly Corrigan, director of marketing with runner & sponsor relations Race178; Kendra Jepsen, attorney at law at Jepsen & McMenomy; Norma Seltz, higher education/marriage and family therapist; Olivia Baugh, M.D., St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center; Pam Czyz, community supporter; Randy Brown, director of regulatory & legislative affairs at AT&T; Sarah Sommers, vice president of human resources and training at Elemental LED, Inc.; and Viki A. Windfeldt, executive director of Nevada State Board of Accountancy.
The role of the board is to provide support and direction to the organization. In addition, board members serve as representatives on five working committees including allocations, board leadership, events, finance & investments and marketing.
Since 1983 NWF has focused on helping women reach their full potential by bringing together the local community’s intellectual, emotional and financial resources to empower women for today and tomorrow.
