RENO, Nev. – The 2025 Nevada Women’s Fund (NWF) board of directors announces the selection of executive officers and names eight new board members to the organization charged with empowering women to achievement through education, career advancement and opportunities. Since 1983, NWF has awarded over $9.9 million in support of women’s advancement throughout Northern Nevada.
Executive officers serving a one-year term include board chair Candy Borrego, senior vice president, Corporate Banking Group at US Bank; vice-chair Craig Wesner, retired civil engineer; treasurer Ben Calingaert, shareholder, Persing Professional Group, LLC., recorder Angela Bradely, vice president, small team lead at Nevada State Bank; and immediate past chair Jen Eastwood, public relations director at Good Giant.
The five new members to NWF’s board of directors are: Beth Macmillan, executive director at Artown; Eleanor Corn, senior manager at Intuit; Kami Porterfield, project manager at Agilysys; Kerry Sutherland, founder & CEO, K. Sutherland PR; Kristin Spracklin, venue sponsorship sales manager at RSCVA; Dr. Kristen McNeill, retired educator, WCSD; Sandhya Bhakta, controller at 2 News Nevada and Valerie Hahn, business development specialist at Greater Nevada Credit Union.
All members of the board serve staggered six-year terms. Additional current board members include:
Cari Blomquist, vice president of Core Game Studio at IGT; Courtney Sweet, attorney at law with Gunderson Law Firm; Cynthia Osborn, area president at AssuredPartners of Nevada; Danielle, Eaton, interim executive director of Sierra Veterans Research and Education Foundation; Erica Mirich, principal at PIVOT Creative and Consulting; Frankie Vigil, marketing professional; Gretchen Sawyer, executive director of the TMCC Foundation; Joey Ganser, principal of engineering at PK Electrical; Katie Coleman, director of communications at Nevada Rural Housing; Kara Harris, vice president of business development at Plumas Bank; Kara Martinezmoles, vice president of operation at Hometown Health; Kendra Jepsen, attorney at Jepsen Law; Laura Nelson, senior audit manager at Eide Bailly; Lisa Harrison, Realtor at Dickson Realty; Nicola Neilon, CPA/shareholder Casey Neilon; Norma Seltz, higher education/marriage and family therapist; Randy Brown, commissioner of Public Utilities Commission of Nevada; Sarah Sommers, vice president of human resources and training at Elemental LED, Inc.; Tiffany McMacken, principal and founder of The Willow Group; and Viki A. Windfeldt, executive director of Nevada State Board of Accountancy.
The role of the board is to provide support and direction to the organization. In addition, board members serve as representatives on six working committees including allocations, board leadership, events, finance & investments, marketing and Summit Project.
For over 40 years, the NWF has focused on helping women reach their full potential by bringing together the local community’s intellectual, emotional and financial resources to empower women for today and tomorrow.
