The Move 4 Less company tagline is “Smile! It’s Moving Day!” This is reflective of its efforts to move customers as easily and stress-free as possible as they start anew in their new home or office. Now, the local company is expanding that philosophy to the everyday heroes in people’s lives who do things that make them smile.
Move 4 Less has created the Community Smiles Nominations and will recognize and award prizes to each person who receives the most nominations in November and December of this year and January 2023. The three winners will receive a Smile Appreciation Basket loaded with goodies and a $1,000 Visa card.
“Too often, people aren’t acknowledged for their thoughtfulness, compassion, and good deeds,” said Move 4 Less co-owners Avi Cohen and Moti Perez. “We’ve seen that in our own lives, so we created the Community Smiles Nominations. We hope the community will take advantage of this opportunity to recognize a neighbor, coworker, family member, friend, service worker, store employee or someone else because of their service, random acts of kindness, or just being available to help when needed.”
Nominations are now being accepted at https://www.move4lessnevada.com/smile. The main question to be answered is: “Why does this person make you and/or our community smile?
There will be a total of three winners, one per month. The same person may be nominated more than once and in each designated month; but only one nomination per person, per day will be accepted, and the same person may not win more than once. Nominees must be 18 years of age or older and a Southern Nevada resident. In the case of a tie, the person who has the most unique nominations will be declared the winner.
The deadline for November, December and January nominations is Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, at midnight PST; Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022, at midnight PST; and Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023, at midnight PST, respectively.
Move 4 Less will contact the three winners during the first week following their award to schedule the presentation of their Community Smile prize.
