Nigro Construction joined university leaders, elected officials and community members yesterday to celebrate the ribbon cutting and unveiling of the new Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Regional Campus, marking the completion of a project designed to expand access to specialty healthcare education in Southern Nevada and support the university’s long-term vision for growth.
The new campus, located at 876 Seven Hills Dr. in Henderson, will offer NSU’s nationally recognized Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) program, enrolling the first cohort of 26 students in the 27-month program this summer.
“This new regional campus reflects our commitment to creating high-quality, dynamic learning environments that support both student success and community impact,” said NSU Executive Vice President for Facilities, Safety, and Campus Services Daniel J. Alfonso, Ed.D. “By expanding our presence in Nevada, we are helping strengthen the pipeline of skilled healthcare professionals and ensuring our programs align with the region’s growing workforce needs.”
The 16,500-square-foot campus was designed to support a variety of academic and workforce development programs including AA, respiratory therapy, physician assistant degree programs and more healthcare programs in the future. The facility includes simulation labs equipped with high-fidelity simulators and fully operational operating rooms, alongside collaborative classrooms, student gathering areas, faculty offices and technology-enabled instructional spaces that replicate real-world healthcare environments.
Throughout construction, Nigro Construction worked closely with project partners to balance today’s educational needs with the adaptability required for tomorrow’s evolving healthcare landscape.

The company is also nearing completion of the Hooks Family Innovation & Technology Center at Faith Lutheran High School, which is slated to open in August 2026.
