Las Vegas-based commercial construction company develops tailor-made tenant improvements to medical facilities
Nevada-based full-service construction company Nigro Construction Inc. makes waves in the medical industry with their development of custom medical facilities. Currently Nigro Construction Inc. has multiple in-progress medical facility projects consisting of an expansion to the Mountains Edge Hospital Orthopedic Surgery Center, a tenant improvement for Dr. Tabassi, and a two-floor tenant improvement with Gastroenterology Associates.
The Mountain’s Edge Hospital Orthopedic Surgery Center expansion project consists of 19,135 square feet of renovations along the northern end of the existing hospital to add a new surgical suite as well as five operating rooms, material management, pre-op and recovery suites. The new additions will also include the installation of a new energy-efficient boiler and decontamination, sterilization, medical gas, and water treatment services within the new surgical department. The expansion is expected to be complete in March 2019.
Dr. Tabassi’s tenant improvement project consists of a 6,000-square-foot build-out anticipated to complete in August of this year. It is designed to accommodate obstetrics and gynecology specialists. As a design-build project, Nigro is able to streamline the design-construction process as well as strategically value engineer all aspects of construction to bring the project under budget with plenty of room for extra amenities. The project space will include nursing stations, exam rooms, procedure rooms, ultrasound rooms, triage, and monitoring rooms.
The Gastroenterology Associates tenant improvement project covers a combined area of 18,564 square feet built out over two floors. Nigro Construction’s team worked side by side with the client to design a state-of-the-art surgical center licensed by the state of Nevada. The facility will house four top-of-the-line operating rooms, a decontamination room, clean storage, exam rooms, patient recovery areas, and medical gas systems. The project is expected to complete July 2018.
