The Foundation Assisting Seniors proudly announces the Nevada Senior Citizen of the Year Award Luncheon, taking place on Monday, August 21. This event promises to be an uplifting and inspiring gathering, held at the Willows Restaurant in Henderson, 2020 W. Horizon Ridge Pkwy. Aligned with the celebration of National Senior Citizens Day, this prestigious event recognizes and honors exceptional seniors who have made remarkable contributions to their communities and the lives of fellow senior citizens and veterans throughout Nevada.

Nominations for the coveted Nevada Senior Citizen of the Year Award are open until Friday, July 28. Nominees must be Nevada residents for at least five years and aged 65 or older as of December 31, 2022. The luncheon not only celebrates exceptional seniors but also offers valuable insights into the challenges faced by our aging population. Esteemed guest speakers, including Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft and CEO and managing attorney at Michaelson Law, John Michaelson, will share their expertise, discussing the current state of seniors in Nevada, including any new legislation or laws that may impact their lives.
Individual tickets for the Nevada Senior Citizen of the Year Luncheon are priced at $40, providing an opportunity for all to attend and show their support.
