NRL legend Aaron Woods made an appearance at the 2025 Daytona 500, engaging with NASCAR drivers, celebrities and media to promote the upcoming Rugby League Las Vegas event on Saturday, March 1 at Allegiant Stadium.
On Saturday, Feb. 15, Woods connected with NASCAR drivers Corey LaJoie, who attended last year’s Rugby League games at Allegiant Stadium, and Ryan Blaney, who previously joined a Manly Warringah Sea Eagles training session.
On Sunday, Feb. 16, Woods took center stage in the pre-race festivities, riding in the pace car and participating in the exclusive driver’s meeting alongside VIPs and celebrities. Woods met with actors Alan Ritchson and Anthony Mackie before a trackside meet-and-greet with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Woods also joined NASCAR legend Michael Waltrip for the grid walk ahead of the race.
