Reno, Nev. – Reno-based NVO Construction (NVO), a disruptive startup revolutionizing the home construction industry, announced it has hired industry veteran Aaron West to serve as its first Chief Strategy Officer. West joins NVO after serving as CEO of the Nevada Builders Alliance (Nevada Builders) for nearly a decade; he will join the fast-growing start-up company to help expand their business footprint in Nevada, California and beyond.

Founded in 2020, NVO is addressing a significant gap in the $23 billion wood framing industry. Framing is a critical step in the building process and accounts for up to 20% of every project budget, yet labor and training shortages are causing rapid declines in framing productivity. NVO’s technology-driven production of components ensures quality and accuracy while delivering high-quality products to builders. Utilizing NVO’s manufactured components allows onsite construction crews to complete framing projects 2.5 times faster than traditional framers.

In addition to its numerous member benefits, West advocated for Nevada’s builders during multiple legislative sessions, bettering the industry through policy by working with the state’s elected officials to ensure the industry’s needs and priorities were heard. Additionally, West facilitated the complete renovation and reopening of one of Nevada’s oldest bars in Carson City, Bank Saloon, during his tenure.
