Chad Brown, veteran Las Vegas hospitality executive and Chief Marketing Officer at JC Hospitality LLC, has been named vice president of the regional trustee group for Olive Crest in Nevada.
Brown, 45, joined Olive Crest in Nevada’s trustee group earlier this year. He previously was a board member of the American Cancer Society’s Nevada office and is an executive committee member of the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl. He also is a graduate of the MGM Resorts International Executive Leadership Institute and serves as a mentor in the UNLV Executive Mentor program.
Brown’s hospitality career began in the marketing and advertising department at the Las Vegas Review-Journal, and continued with stops at Treasure Island, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay (where he also opened the Delano and oversaw operations at the Four Seasons), Excalibur and Luxor, and MGM Resorts (serving as vice president of all U.S. properties) before assuming his current role as Chief Marketing Officer for JC Hospitality. As CMO, he leads the development of new brands, marketing, and promotional strategy for the company’s growing portfolio of investment, development, and management initiatives.
He was specifically hired by the JC Hospitality in 2020 to lead the marketing and advertising strategy across the multi-operator structure of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas after the company purchased the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
“Chad has been all about innovation and thinking outside the box with the companies he’s represented, and has brought that same cutting edge approach to Olive Crest,” said Jimmy Monaghan, Executive Director for Olive Crest in Nevada. “He will be a tremendous community advocate for Olive Crest and the kids and families we serve. We are thrilled to have him help lead our team.”
Brown and his wife of nearly 20 years, Leah, have three children. He earned a degree in marketing from UNLV and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He was raised in Las Vegas from the age of five and is a graduate of Cheyenne High School.
