Operation Care Package + Project Food Bank Serving our Troops Locally and Abroad

LAS VEGAS– Right Lawyers in partnership with the United Service Organization (USO) and Nellis Air Force Base, will be collecting food and personal care items from Oct. 15 until Nov. 10, 2019, for Southern Nevada servicemen and women deployed overseas. In addition to creating care packages for those stationed abroad, Right Lawyers and the USO have extended the drive to create Project Food Bank, with a mission to assist military families back home in the Las Vegas Valley. Operation Care Package was created as a collaboration between Right Lawyers and the Las Vegas USO to provide for local troops serving across the world. Suggested donation items include beef jerky, protein bars, toothpaste, and foot powder. “As a veteran, I understand the importance of supporting our troops,” said Rock Rocheleau, Esq. at Right Lawyers, “We are honored to partner with the USO to help us support and provide supplies for our troops.” “We formed Project Food Bank as an addition to the care packages to help ensure our local military families are not struggling to get by in a community that their loved ones have worked so hard to protect,” said Kerri Serrano, Center Director Nevada, USO. “By donating non-perishable food/household items, we will be able to help 50 families of the local 926 Units that are experiencing food insecurity.” The three-week-long collection cycle will end with one last drop-zone at the Veteran’s Expo on Nov. 9 and Nov. 10 at Galleria at Sunset, located at 1300 W Sunset Rd, Henderson, NV 89014, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Additional drop-off zones include: • Right Lawyers. 600 S.
