LAS VEGAS – (August 6, 2025) – Palm Mortuaries and Cemeteries has purchased 53 acres of land off Kyle Canyon Road, marking its latest expansion to serve the growing needs of the Southern Nevada community.
On the route to Mount Charleston, the newly acquired property will be developed into a future cemetery and mortuary site. With construction details tentative, plans are underway to create a natural and peaceful environment for burial, cremation with permanent placement and Celebrations of Life.
“This expansion allows us to plan ahead and continue meeting the needs of a growing region,” said Celena DiLullo, president of Palm Mortuaries and Cemeteries. “We’re focused on thoughtful growth and long-term service to the community.”
Palm Mortuaries began with a single location in 1927 and has since grown to 10 locations across Southern Nevada. The company’s expansion has long mirrored the growth of the state itself, staying rooted in service and tradition while evolving to meet changing needs.
Additional details about the services planned for the Kyle Canyon site will be announced as development progresses.

About Palm Mortuaries and Cemeteries
Palm Mortuaries and Cemeteries has been serving the southern Nevada community since 1927. It started with one funeral home and now has 10 funeral homes and six cemeteries. Historic Palm Downtown has the very first mausoleum in Southern Nevada, and Palm also has the only Jewish funeral home and cemetery combination location in Nevada. Palm protects the community through prearrangements made by many families ahead of time to ensure their loved ones know their wishes are carried out, and it serves families during the most difficult time of suffering a loss.
