Thomas’ area of practice is primarily focused on complex commercial litigation, with a special focus on construction law. In addition to litigation matters, Thomas’ practice includes drafting contracts for small and large commercial projects, as well as advocating for her clients at administrative hearings and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. She also has experience in other areas of commercial litigation, including general contract disputes, financial services litigation, and other general civil litigation matters.
Thomas practices law in Nevada and Colorado, as well as the Supreme Court of Nevada;Supreme Court of Colorado; United States District Court,District of Nevada; United States District Court, and District of Colorado. Ms. Thomas obtained her Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Juris Doctor from William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
She is a member of the American Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division and Forum on Construction Law; State Bar of Nevada; State Bar of Colorado; Clark County Bar Association; Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada’s Board of Directors; and the Nevada Contractor’s Association. This year, she has been elected to leadership positions on both the Construction Leadership Council of the Nevada Contractor’s Association and the Board of Directors for Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada.
