Patranya Bhoolsuwan will emcee the 2022 Women of Distinction Awards (WODA) luncheon event, hosted by the National Association of Women Business Owners Southern Nevada (NAWBO). The WODA awards honor the achievement of women in business and philanthropy. This year’s luncheon will be held at Conference Center of Las Vegas, 6590 Bermuda Road, in Las Vegas, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 25th.
Bhoolsuwan is a three-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, public speaking coach, and media and brand strategist. She has worked in major news markets including Seattle, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Las Vegas. She was named “Reporter of the Year” by the Nevada Association of Broadcasters.
After more than two decades in the media, she founded her consulting company, Patranya Media LLC, in 2019. With this venture, she helps corporations, small businesses, and nonprofits tell their stories in the media while also coaching executives for on-camera public speaking and other media opportunities.
“As a woman, a minority, and a small business owner, I am proud of what I bring to the table every day,” Bhoolsuwan said. “There’s power in diversity and a community that supports it. The WODA Awards ceremony really exemplifies this. I am honored to be emceeing this great event for the second year in a row. To be surrounded by so many amazing and accomplished women is truly inspiring.”
