“Connecting Minds and Creating the Future”
What was your first job?
I started with a stone manufacturing company while I was still attending university at the age of 21, and I grew the business to over 150 employees.
Who in your life has been instrumental to your success?
My brothers, Patrick and Khalil. I always say that I am the brains and they are the pulse, I come up with ideas and they turn them into reality. My brothers really tipped the scales and changed the course of my business.
What do you want your legacy to be?
Inspiration and motivation for future generations, so that they realize we are not the first ones to have come and we are not the last. It is when you know that you have impacted lives of many people and touched their souls.
What career advice would you give to your teenage self?
Stay modest and embrace servant leadership. With modesty comes a greater ability to listen and learn, and once knowledge is acquired, it can never be erased. As for servant leadership, it is your dedication to your mission, were it your work, family or community. Any disservice to one’s mission is a disservice to everyone else. Therefore, understanding such elements would bring about real change.
What is your motto?
My personal perpetual motto is “Connecting Minds and Creating the Future”, driven by passion and love for everything that I do, as I believe that the foremost quality – there’s no success without it – is really loving what you do. With that said, my aim will forever be to unlock every possible potential for all to make a difference towards the future development of various facets of our world.
What is the best moment of your career?
It was the day when my brothers joined me, as they are the ones who made the actual difference from the moment they joined. With them, I have all I need. My goals are now more conveniently achieved because I am supported by the people I love and trust.
What is your favorite thing about living in Nevada?
The many different aspects of it. I grew up in Nevada, so it’s my second home and I am emotionally attached to it. I love the weather and the vibrant city of Las Vegas. In addition to being a hub for famous hotels and casinos, it is becoming a metropolis. When one understands the cycles of real estate and different businesses in Las Vegas, he recognizes that it is the abutment of opportunities, where one could achieve anything they put their mind to, no matter who they are.
