Local publication Special Sources is pleased to debut it’s 2nd edition and a new website, serving as a free resource for anyone who cares for a child, teen or young adult with special needs.
“We’ve launched two editions of the publication and have received such a positive response from the community,” said Kari Tillman, Special Sources founder and owner. “Now, our goal is to continue expanding the reach of our publication and website throughout Nevada to provide families and caretakers with a free resource full of essential information.”
Owner and partner at Special Sources Thomas Rojas add, “I am deeply honored to partner with Kari on this venture. This was a great opportunity for us to collaborate and provide a much-needed platform of information and resources that directly benefit parents and caretakers.”
Special Sources has a circulation of more than 25,000 and is available both in print and online. The bi-annual magazine offers a comprehensive directory of service providers, in-depth articles and advice columns geared toward helping families navigate the complex web of community resources and services available to them. It offers critical and useful information that will enable caregivers to locate a variety of support services and resources such as qualified medical professionals and therapists, funding sources, educational options, and support networks to help eliminate the feelings of hopelessness and isolation.
The magazine also includes a new parent blog gallery, providing an intimate look into the lives of parents and their personal experiences with special-needs children. For more information, visit www.special-sources.com.
