
LAS VEGAS – Real Estate Expo Las Vegas, a two-day event that kicks off on April 8 at Cashman Center, will include the latest installment of the “Las Vegas Housing Outlook,” presented by Southwest Gas. The presentation features an in-depth look at consumer housing demand in Las Vegas by Home Builders Research, Inc. President and CEO Dennis Smith. This event will provide additional insight on the local housing market from a panel of top local industry experts.

Smith, with more than 30 years of experience selling, marketing and managing new housing and builder-related activities, publishes a nationally recognized monthly newsletter and annual report, as well as weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales summaries used by industry leaders in local, national and global markets. He also is a five-term member of the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association Board of Directors.
The “Las Vegas Housing Outlook” panelists include Southern Nevada Home Builders Association President Frank Wyatt, who also is founder and president of Pinnacle Homes, Bob Potts, research director for the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, and Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS CEO Michele Caprio.
“Las Vegas Housing Outlook” is one of several special presentations throughout the two-day Real Estate Expo Las Vegas. The Expo marks the first time that local home builders, real estate professionals and industry partners have joined forces to showcase “all things real estate under one roof.” The Expo is designed to benefit industry professionals, would-be home buyers, investors, boomerang buyers, or those who are simply interested in real estate.
The Expo is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 8, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 9. The event will showcase educational and informational sessions scheduled to cover topics such as the home buying process, mortgage financing, financial planning, home technology and programs to help home buyers.
