RENO, Nev. – In a powerful display of unified community support, the Reno Aces have reinforced their commitment to the Reno Rodeo Foundation’s (RRF) annual Denim Drive with a generous $10,000 donation. This contribution, aimed at brightening the holiday season for Northern Nevada foster families, was presented during a special check presentation ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at the Greater Nevada Field.
The $10,000 donation from the Reno Aces will be utilized to purchase gift cards for rural foster families across 14 Northern Nevada counties, offering them the flexibility to choose precisely what they need and want during the holiday season. This approach recognizes the individual needs of each family, allowing them the autonomy to select personalized items and gifts.

The partnership between the Reno Aces and the RRF extends beyond financial contributions; it symbolizes a consolidated effort of the community to uplift those who need it most.

Since 2006, the Reno Rodeo Foundation has donated close to $2 million supporting thousands of infants, children and teens experiencing extraordinary circumstances when they can no longer safely stay with their families. To meet the needs of foster children across 14 counties, the 2023 Denim Drive program’s goal is to raise at least $200,000 — a feat that is accomplished through generous donations from the community and the tireless work of volunteers.
