RENO, Nev. – The Reno Rodeo Foundation (RRF) is now accepting applications for the 2025 Reno Rodeo Wish Program. Since its inception in 2003, this initiative has provided invaluable support to children facing medical challenges by enhancing their quality of life. The program aims to inspire hope and resilience creating a lasting positive impact for children in Northern Nevada.
This year, the Reno Rodeo Foundation is expanding the impact of the Reno Rodeo Wish Program. While continuing to create personalized, unforgettable experiences that bring much-needed joy to children with medical challenges, the program will now also address critical healthcare barriers. This includes providing funding for adaptive equipment, travel expenses, home modifications and other essential resources to ensure children receive the support they need to thrive.
“While granting wishes remains at the heart of what we do, the Reno Rodeo Foundation’s Rodeo Wish Program is evolving to address an even greater need we’ve discovered in our community,” said Cheree Boteler, Executive Director of the RRF. “We’re combining the magic of personalized experiences with practical support by providing critical resources for children with medical challenges. With this new initiative, we’re creating a lasting impact for both today and tomorrow, giving children and their families the hope and strength to move forward, one wish at a time.”
The program is open to children with non-life-threatening medical conditions under the age of 18 who reside in Northern Nevada (excluding Clark, Lincoln and Esmeralda counties). Nominations are accepted only through healthcare providers, hospitals, medical case workers or other medical professionals. Interested nominators can email info@renorodeofoundation.org to receive the necessary form to submit a nomination.
To support the ongoing success and expansion of the Reno Rodeo Wish Program, the Reno Rodeo Foundation is launching a range of sponsorship opportunities. Sponsorship levels include:
