RENO, Nev. – The “Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West” returns June 19–28 with 10 nights of buckin’, ropin’ and ridin’—along with several exciting new experiences both in and out of the arena. The 106th Reno Rodeo introduces fresh additions designed to entertain die-hard rodeo fans and casual attendees alike.
Nightly Viewing Party
The Reno Rodeo Nightly Viewing Party offers an immersive experience in the air-conditioned Indoor Arena for those without evening performance tickets. Featuring large video boards, Western shopping at the Silver Spurs Mercantile, concessions, a DJ and ample seating, this $10 general admission event creates a welcoming environment for families, first-time attendees and those seeking a laid-back way to enjoy the action.
Silver Spurs Mercantile
The shopping experience Reno Rodeo fans know and love has gotten an upgrade. The all-new Silver Spurs Mercantile, located inside the Indoor Arena, brings a refreshed look and feel to this longtime favorite. Featuring more than 100 vendors, the Mercantile offers a dynamic mix of handmade leather goods, cowboy hats, boutique fashion, western art, home décor and unique gifts. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., June 18 through June 28, this enhanced marketplace is the ultimate destination for one-of-a-kind treasures, outfit upgrades and Western flair. With new vendors added each year, the Silver Spurs Mercantile continues to evolve, offering something fresh and exciting for shoppers of every style.
Doc Bar Speakeasy
The Doc Bar Speakeasy provides a stylish, vintage-inspired alternative to the Jack Tent. Located above the Indoor Arena, this exclusive space blends Wild West character with 1920s speakeasy flair. Open nightly during the Reno Rodeo, the Doc Bar offers lounge-style seating with floor-to-ceiling views of the Nightly Viewing Party, appetizers, two drink tickets, a limited-edition Reno Rodeo Doc Bar whiskey glass, an exclusive lapel pin, a no-host bar and private restrooms. Reserved tables and parking passes are available for groups of 8 or 10.

New for 2025, Doc Bar Happy Hour runs from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m., with a $10 cash cover and no rodeo performance ticket required. A special early opening is also scheduled for June 18 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in celebration of the Scotty McCreery concert at the arena. New Roping Events
Two new roping competitions will debut at the 2025 Reno Rodeo, adding even more excitement to the lineup.
The Reno Roundup Ranch Sorting takes place Sunday, June 23, starting at 7:30 a.m. Sanctioned by Ranch Sorting National Championships (RSNC), this event includes divisions for all skill levels and features $5,000 in added money. Registration is available at rsnc.app, and spectator admission is free.
On Monday, June 24, the Nevada Shuffle will make its debut—a unique team roping event open to participants of all ages and experience levels. With a combination of traditional and draw-style formats, the Nevada Shuffle promises fast-paced competition and a full day of high-energy action. The event is produced by Flying U Rodeo and hosted at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center.
These additions offer fans even more opportunities to experience elite roping competition prior to the main rodeo performances.
