Reno Startup Week Announces 2024 Dates
Vision Committee is Underway Planning the Citywide Event
RENO, Nev. (March 19, 2024) – Following the very successful inaugural Reno Startup Week, which turned out to be the largest entrepreneurial event ever hosted in Reno, the community event has announced their 2024 dates which will be September 16 through 20. Reno Startup Week is a community-driven event dedicated to bringing together founders, innovators, dreamers, makers, and business owners for a week-long celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit in Northern Nevada.
Along with more than a dozen organizations, the team at the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) is building a full schedule of networking and programming designed to assist local business leaders and founders and every level in between.
New this year will be Reno Startup Week’s participation as a qualifying event in the global, Startup World Cup presented by Pegasus Tech Ventures. The winners of the qualifying events will meet in San Francisco to vie for a $1million grand prize.
EDAWN CEO Taylor Adams sees Reno Startup Week as a way to ignite the innovation and business savvy within our community, “The talent, creativity and business acumen we have in our Northern Nevada community is inspiring and EDAWN is proud to continue Reno Startup Week which promises to be even bigger and better than last year.”

The five-day event will feature keynote speakers, workshops, evening events and a variety of programming for founders and entrepreneurs of all stages. The headquarters for the event will be at The Paloma, inside the Old Post Office Building downtown, with workshops at the University of Nevada, Reno Innevation Center, The Basement and several other venues to be announced.
