RENO, Nev.– Reno Startup Week has announced its speaker line-up for the Sept. 25-29 event. nZero President and CEO Adam Kramer will deliver the keynote address at the event’s opening celebration at Cypress on the first night.
Kramer is a former executive at Switch and a globally recognized sustainability leader. nZero automates data collection, applies the most accurate emissions factors and delivers the insights companies need to hit their sustainability goals on time and under budget.
The weeklong event will feature three main celebrations, 40 educational workshops, guest speakers and networking opportunities throughout the community. Reno Startup Week was created to bring together founders, innovators, dreamers, makers and business owners for a celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit in northern Nevada.
On Wed., Sept. 27, Reno Startup Week will host a panel of venture capitalists from renowned firms such as SVB Capital, Next Frontier Capital, Flume Ventures, Dream Ventures and Advantage Capital. This one-of-a-kind panel is open to all attendees and will be held at the Discovery Museum.
Ryan J. Weissmueller, the founder and CEO of Fintrepid Solutions is a seasoned advocate, thought leader and strategist serving the entrepreneurial community. He will present a lecture, “Living Sale Ready,” at the UNR Innevation Center in downtown Reno on Wed., Sept. 27, at 10:30 a.m.
Attorney Chris Meyers from Holland & Hart, CEO Clint Vernon from Message Desk and Value Quraishi from Value Ventures will also lead workshops or speak on panels throughout the week. Other speakers include representatives from the Small Business Development Center, the Nevada Secretary of State’s office and the Lt. Governor’s Office of Small Business Advocacy.
These are just a handful of the over 50 speakers and experts who will be presenting at Reno Startup Week.
