LAS VEGAS – SafeNest was named a finalist for Vegas Chamber’s Nonprofit of the Year award.
The Business of the Year Awards honored companies that exemplify the tremendous spirit and capabilities of the local business community. The businesses and individuals honored are diverse, bold and innovative – just like Vegas itself. Finalists and winners were chosen by the Vegas Chamber’s Business of the Year Selection Committee.

The winners were announced at the Vegas Chamber’s Business of the Year luncheon Oct. 17 at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino’s Grand Ballroom.
SafeNest has been at the forefront of ending domestic and sexual violence in Southern Nevada for 44 years, treating the entire continuum from prevention to protection to empowerment providing a safe shelter for victims of abuse and providing resources for abusive partners to address the cycle of abuse – In 2023, we provided life-saving services to over 11,150 survivors of domestic violence including 58,471 shelter services: 19,828 calls to our 24/7 hotline; and 3,125 crisis responses with LVMPD.
