SafeNest, Nevada’s largest and most comprehensive nonprofit dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence, named Linda Bridges chief marketing and communications officer.
Bridges has 15 years of experience helping nonprofits create and amplify their brand stories. Before joining SafeNest, she led marketing and brand strategy for Miracle Flights and the City of North Las Vegas, driving local and national brand awareness for both organizations.
Bridges has also served as the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada’s chief communications officer, leading creative strategy, developing internal and external communications, and leading public relations, media engagement and strategic marketing. In 2018, Bridges formed Troop State Capitol, a bipartisan delegation of women members of Nevada’s Legislature, to advance key issues affecting girls and young women.
Bridges, who has a Master of Arts in marketing from Webster University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in speech communication from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, moved to Las Vegas from St. Louis in 2013. She then joined the leadership team of Catapult Groups, a coaching company serving CEOs, company presidents and managing partners.
“Linda’s passion combined with her experience as a veteran marketing and communications professional will bolster SafeNest’s mission of providing comprehensive, collaborative and innovative services for everyone affected by domestic and sexual violence in our community,” said SafeNest CEO Liz Ortenburger.
Beyond work, Bridges is a member of the Junior League of Las Vegas, served as marketing chair for the International Association of Women’s Las Vegas chapter and was service project chair for the Red Rock Rotary of Las Vegas. She is a 2024 graduate of the Vegas Chamber Leadership Las Vegas program, was a 2021 Vegas Inc. 40 Under 40 honoree and was named the 2020 “Rising Star” Woman of Distinction from the National Association of Women Business Owners of Southern Nevada.
