LAS VEGAS – FirstMed Health and Wellness, a local healthcare company, hosted a back-to-school fair to help FirstMed clients and their families prepare for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. The event was held today at FirstMed’s Shadow Lane campus on Shadow Lane and Alta.
The fair included giveaways of backpacks filled with school supplies, along with fun activities for the whole family. Guests enjoyed face painting, games, superhero characters, frozen treats by Kona Ice, music by DJ Benzo at KCEP 88.1 FM and raffles with prizes including bikes, Chromebooks and Amazon gift cards.
“Our back-to-school fair was more than school supplies—it was about showing our clients and their families that we care about them and are a resource they can trust,” said Erykah Cohen, Digital Media Manager at FirstMed Health & Wellness. “By easing some of the financial stress that comes with preparing for a new school year, especially for underserved and minority families, we helped children start the year with confidence and the tools they need to be successful.”
Throughout the event, FirstMed clients were able to receive healthcare services including vaccines, blood pressure checks and A1C checks.
