RENO, Nev. (July 17, 2023) – Sierra Nevada REALTORS® is hosting free Document Destruction Days on July 18 in Reno and July 26 in Carson City. Document Destruction Days will provide locals the opportunity to safely dispose of old records and documents containing personal information that are taking up space. Both events are open to members and the public.
In lieu of a box charge, Sierra Nevada REALTORS® is accepting monetary donations to benefit the Nevada Military Support Alliance, an organization committed to supporting Nevada’s Armed Forces, Veterans, and their families.
Details on both events:
- July 18, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Reno – 5650 Riggins Court - July 26, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Carson City, 300 S. Curry Street
“We want to provide the community with the opportunity to clean out their file cabinets while simultaneously raising funds for an important cause,” said April LaBrie, CEO of Sierra Nevada REALTORS®. “It’s common for people to hang on to files for years because they don’t have a way to properly dispose of them and these Document Destruction Days aim to help our members and the public with just that.”
