The Sol-Up Showroom Features Products That Help Consumers Achieve Greater Energy Independence And Reduce Carbon Footprints
Reno, Nev., June 24, 2024 – Sol-Up, a full-service energy solution and conservation company is proud to announce the Grand Opening of Northern Nevada’s first clean energy showroom.
As the nation celebrates Independence Day Weekend, the public is invited to learn about renewable energy products and energy independence. The Sol-Up showroom is located at 902 S. Virginia Street in MidTown Reno and will be open July 5 and July 6, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Those who own their home and bring their electric bill to the showroom on July 5th or 6th will receive a $25 gift card to Brasserie St. James. Additional drawings for significant solar panel system discounts and referral bonuses are planned.
The Sol-Up showroom is designed to educate consumers on a wide range of clean energy solutions and energy conservation products, including Meyer Burger solar panels, Tesla inverters and Powerwall products, ProVia windows and doors, SPAN smart panels, SolarEdge inverters and power optimizers, Enphase inverters and WallBox EV chargers.
“Nevada is blessed with the natural resources that allow consumers and business owners to take full advantage of clean energy solutions,” said Steve Hamile, Sol-Up Chief Operating Officer. “Our MidTown Reno showroom is designed to help provide Northern Nevadans with the opportunity to ask questions and understand how clean energy products can help them reduce energy costs and their carbon footprint.”
The showroom is staffed by experienced Sol-Up employees who are well-versed in renewable energy technology, products, tax incentives and credits, and financing programs available to make renewable energy affordable.
Sol-Up is proud to be Nevada’s longest-continuously operating solar company. Since 2009, Sol-Up has provided full-service solutions for a range of budgets to both residential and business customers. As a result of its excellent reputation, Sol-Up is the only company in the United States to achieve Pinnacle Partner status with Meyer Burger – the U.S. manufacturer of high-performance photovoltaic cells and modules.
Sol-Up’s NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certified team provides clients with deep industry knowledge about cutting-edge solar technologies, competitive pricing, and a reputation for doing things right. Sol-Up’s foundation is in engineering, and each system is thoughtfully designed with purpose and passion, whether for the business or the household.
While some solar companies in Nevada rely on sub-contractors to handle sales, permitting, or installation of solar panels, Sol-Up differs. Every employee involved in a Sol-Up project is trained and employed by Sol-Up and has the experience and resources to complete the job to the highest level of quality.
During Nevada’s most recent legislative session, Sol-Up worked directly with legislators to present and pass SB 293, a bill that allows the State of Nevada to prosecute deceptive third-party salespeople and companies who mislead consumers about solar energy. Under the law, every solar installation company must hold a contractor’s license, and anyone providing a solar energy proposal or executing a solar contract must have a contractor’s license or be employed by a licensed contractor.
Sol-Up strongly believes in supporting the communities in which it operates. Sol-Up employees and executives support or are members of several clean energy organizations and nonprofit groups that provide essential resources to the community. Additionally, Sol-Up has provided solar systems free of charge to several nonprofit organizations to help reduce power costs.
