Solutions of Change seeking donations for its 2024 Healing Holidays event, Dec 7

[Event spreads holiday joy to disadvantaged populations served by nonprofit Solutions of Change]

Solutions of Change, a Las Vegas-based nonprofit serving the mental health needs of underserved families in the community, is currently seeking donations for itsĀ Dec. 7Ā Healing Holidays event.
Healing Holidays provides a joyful holiday experience for the underserved populations Solutions of Change serves. Through the use of gratitude practice, family connectedness and music therapy, the event creates a supportive and healing environment for Solutions of Change clients, in addition to offering a holiday meal, gifts and essential hygiene items. To support this year’s event, the nonprofit is in need of:
  • Holiday food items
  • Journals, books and self-care items
  • Toys (dolls, action figures, electronics)
  • Bikes, skateboards, scooters and electronics gift cards
  • Hygiene products
Monetary donations are also welcome. Solutions of Change offers free or low-cost mental health services and free family support services for those with basic needs shortfalls. In addition, the nonprofit provides free annual mental health programming (including Healing Holidays, its annualĀ Youth Wellness SummitĀ andĀ Healing to HealthĀ conference), and free psychoeducation workshops focusing on emotional wellness skills.
