Southwest Medical has added new providers to help meet the growing need for health services in the Las Vegas community:
Dr. Stephanie Ashman joins Southwest Medical’s Tenaya Health Center (2716 N. Tenaya Way) and specializes in medical management. Ashman completed her medical training at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York and completed her residency at Albany Medical Center Hospital. She is certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Dr. Mirit Avram joins Southwest Medical’s Pahrump Health Center (2210 E. Calvada Blvd.) and specializes in internal medicine. Avram completed her medical training at St. George’s University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada, West Indies and completed her residency in internal medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. She joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Jeana Beavers, NP joins Southwest Medical’s Nellis Health Center (540 N. Nellis Blvd.) and specializes in adult medicine. Beavers completed her medical training at La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Dr. Ruby Bhullar joins Southwest Medical’s Siena Health Center (2845 Siena Heights) and specializes in adult medicine. Bhullar completed her medical training at Medical University of the Americas, Charlestown, Nevis, West Indies and completed her residency in family medicine at East Jefferson General Hospital – Tulane School of Medicine in Metairie, Louisiana. She joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Dr. Casey Burchill joins Southwest Medical’s Rancho/Charleston Health Center (2316 W. Charleston Blvd.) and specializes in podiatry. Burchill completed his medical training at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois and completed his residency at Dekalb Medical Center, The Podiatry Institute in Decatur, Georgia, serving as chief resident in reconstructive, trauma, and elective foot and ankle surgery. He joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Dr. Glenn Irwin joins Southwest Medical’s Lake Mead Health Center (270 E. Lake Mead Blvd.) and specializes in adult medicine. Irwin completed his medical training Milton S. Hershey School of Medicine, Penn State University, in Hershey, Pennsylvania and completed his residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is certified with the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Emergency Medicine and joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Dr. Candance Leaphart-St. Cloud joins Southwest Medical’s Siena Health Center (2845 Siena Heights) and specializes in obstetrics/gynecology. Leaphart-St. Cloud completed her medical training at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois and completed her residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. She joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Dr. Lauren Maxham joins Southwest Medical’s Montecito Health Center (7061 Grand Montecito Pkwy.) and specializes in internal medicine. Maxham completed her medical training at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and completed her residency at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Dr. Daniel Nguyen joins Southwest Medical’s Montecito Health Center (7061 Grand Montecito Pkwy.) and specializes in adult medicine. Nguyen completed his medical training at St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in West Bay, Cayman Islands and completed his residency at Southern Illinois University Quincy Family Medicine in Quincy, Illinois. He joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Dr. Sandra Pagnussat joins Southwest Medical’s Flamingo Health Center (5580 W. Flamingo Rd.) and specializes in rheumatology. Pagnussat completed her medical training at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida and completed her residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Dr. Khursheeda Pathan joins Southwest Medical’s Nellis Health Center (420 N. Nellis Blvd.) and specializes in pediatrics. Pathan completed her medical training at the Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugarajendra Medical College in Davangere, Karnataka, India and completed her residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. She joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Dr. Tanisha Powell joins Southwest Medical’s Siena Health Center (2845 Siena Heights) and specializes in pediatrics. Powell completed her medical training at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia and completed her residency at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia at Georgia Regents University in Augusta, Georgia. She joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Joselito San Jose, NP joins Southwest Medical’s Home Care Plus division (2704 N. Tenaya Way). San Jose completed his medical training at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles, California. He joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Cori Saville, NP joins Southwest Medical’s Home Care Plus division (2704 N. Tenaya Way). Saville completed her medical training at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. She joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Susan Tanner, APRN joins Southwest Medical’s Tenaya Health Center (2704 N. Tenaya Way) and specializes in inpatient care and skilled nursing. Tanner completed her medical training at Wilmington University in New Castle, Delaware and is certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
Dr. Chaorui Tian joins Southwest Medical’s Charleston/Rancho Health Center (2316 W. Charleston Blvd.) and specializes in gastroenterology. Tian completed his medical training at the Tongji Medical University in Wuhan, China and completed his residency at the University at Buffalo, Buffalo, New York. He joined Southwest Medical in 2015.

Elena Zalan, PA joins Southwest Medical’s Valle Verde Convenient Care Center (75 Valle Verde Drive, Henderson) and specializes in urgent care. Zalan completed her medical training at Touro University in Henderson, Nevada and joined Southwest Medical in 2015.
