RENO, Nev. (June 2, 2025) NCET, Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, recognized SR Construction as the 2025 Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology’s Construction Company of the Year for the ER at Damonte Ranch project. This award is presented to the company that demonstrates technological innovation with tools, machinery, modifications, and software used during the design or construction phase of a project and constructs an innovative end-project which could be considered a prototype for the region. Accepting the award for SR were Vincent Mamone, Northern Nevada Regional Manager, Eunice Diestro, Project Manager, Andrea Bradford, Senior Project Engineer, and Bailey Barbato, Project Engineer.
The ER at Damonte Ranch is an emergency medical office building that is an extension of Northen Nevada Medical Center, located at 1041 Steamboat Parkway, Reno Nevada. The building is 10,456 square feet, and on a site of 2.26 acres. All ages from pediatrics to seniors are treated, with fast-track exam rooms for efficient triage. Patients arrive via walk-in or ambulance. In the same manner as a hospital emergency department, the ER at Damonte Ranch treats a variety of emergency medical needs including heart attack, stroke, trauma conditions, lacerations, acute pain, and other life-threatening conditions. If a patient requires a higher level of care, they will partner with local EMS providers to transport patients to an appropriate regional hospital. There are no sleeping beds at this facility and any patient needing in-patient care are transferred to a full-service hospital, Northen Nevada Medical Center.
Now in its 18th year, the NCET Technology Awards celebrate the Northern Nevada individuals and companies who have greatly enhanced the growth and prestige of the technology community. The NCET Technology Awards were held on May 20, 2025, in the Tahoe Ballroom of the Grand Sierra Resort.
