Las Vegas-based IT recruitment leader, Taurean Consulting Group, recently hired Michelle Boyce as an Account Manager. In her new role, Boyce will recruit and oversee a new Taurean sales team while developing and implementing a strategic plan to expand the company’s customer base.
Boyce comes to Taurean after spending four years as a Career Development Specialist with nonprofit, Tech Impact. There she helped to facilitate internships, job searches and placement for emerging young tech professionals.
“I have seen firsthand the impacts and connections Michelle has developed with people,” said Taurean Consulting Group CEO, Sonia Petkewich. “She has an outstanding reputation in the market. I know she will do well in this role because she has the drive to find solutions that serve everyone. I also admire that she is looking to grow personally and professionally, knowing that there are going to be challenges in learning this new role. She is ready to take them on and driven to exceed expectations.”
Boyce came to Las Vegas eight years ago from Brooklyn. Before Tech Impact, she also spent time as a college and career counselor for Clark County School District. Her passion has always been rooted in helping young people find great careers in IT.
“Taurean has helped place many young people that I have worked with through the years and they still continue to do important work in our industry,” Boyce said. “I am proud to be a member of the team. Sonia’s ability to lead by example and to demonstrate to others how she herself has grown professionally makes her an inspiring leader to me. I know that working at Taurean will enhance my skills professionally and personally.”
