For the sixth year in a row, TEDxUniversityofNevada will present an impressive lineup of inspiring and thought-provoking speakers. The one-day event will take place at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018. Doors open at 8 a.m. and the event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are available now at tedxuniversityofnevada.org.
With the theme “Sides,” TEDxUniversityofNevada’s aim is to present new ideas from many sides, enhance knowledge and even change lives. Those attending the TEDx event will be surrounded by curious people excited to be inspired and learn something new in an environment filled with optimism and energy. The event also presents opportunities to network and connect with both event attendees and speakers and performers.
The 21 speakers in the 2018 lineup include three performers, eight local speakers, and 10 speakers from around the U.S. and Canada. Some speakers will leave attendees questioning their life and the world they live in. Some will ask audience members to take a stand or join a movement. And, all have the potential to make a real difference in the world.
Speakers and performers include (for full list visit tedxuniversityofnevada.org):
