Las Vegas, NV – In its 27th year, the 98.5 KLUC Chet Buchanan Show Toy Drive presented by The Venetian Resort Las Vegas collected donations from the local community. From Dec. 4 through Dec. 15, residents and businesses collaborated to fill 40 trucks with new toys, including 6,792 bicycles, and contributed $792,430 in monetary donations. This year’s success was made possible through the generous support of various partners and businesses, such as Credit One Bank, Centennial Toyota, Naqvi Injury Law, Las Vegas Aces, as well as Claggett & Sykes and Terribles, who donated the largest gifts to date.
“HELP of Southern Nevada extends its sincere gratitude to Chet Buchanan, Mikalah Gordon, the Audacy team, and our incredible Southern Nevada community,” said Fuilala Riley, president and CEO of HELP of Southern Nevada. “Year after year, this community comes together to support families in need—preserving holiday traditions and helping them begin the new year with hope.”
This year all the bikes, toys and gift cards were distributed to 1,554 households and 116 local non-profits, community groups and churches in Southern Nevada. Learn more at https://www.helpsonv.org/holiday-programs.
