The Foundation Assisting Seniors (FAS) is pleased to announce the success of its 4th Annual Gala, held October 7 at the Silverton Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. They provided entertainment and valuable assistance for seniors and veterans facing challenges. Since its establishment in 2002, FAS has remained steadfast in its commitment to improving the lives of seniors and veterans. Having fulfilled over 500,000 requests for assistance services, the Foundation has made a significant impact by providing free loans of durable medical equipment and conducting wellness checks through its innovative HowRU™ program.
“The event served as a significant step forward in achieving the organization’s mission of providing aid and support to seniors and veterans,” said Carol Chapman, president and CEO of the Foundation Assisting Seniors. “The gala not only paid tribute to the rich history of our city but also made a profound difference in the lives of many individuals who have selflessly dedicated themselves to serving our community and our nation through their military service. We thank everyone who participated and look forward to gathering again next year.”
The entertainment lineup at the event featured headliner Dondino showcasing Vintage Vegas showmanship, and a live auction offered guests the opportunity to win incredible gifts. Honorary Chair Cindy Doumani, a long-standing supporter of the Las Vegas community, added her special touch to the event.
As FAS moves forward, it calls upon the community to remain strong in their support as both volunteers and donors are important lifelines of the Foundation.
