LAS VEGAS – Open starting today at Durango Resort & Casino, The George Sportsmen’s Lounge, is excited to announce its food and beverage menu, which will be offered 24 hours, seven days a week.
The concept of The George, created by Jonathan Fine, CEO and Founder of FINE Entertainment Management, is putting a new spin on what it means to be a “George” in Las Vegas – classically known as “a big tipper.” The new sportsmen’s lounge, located adjacent to the STN Sportsbook, will offer chef-driven American fare, unparalleled sports viewing, and captivating entertainment to create an all-in-one immersive dining and entertainment experience.
The kitchen is helmed by Josh Laquet, Executive Chef of FINE Entertainment and Carlos Gonzalez, who have developed menus for brands such as PKWY Tavern, BLVD Grille and Rockhouse, and will feature a mix of classic American favorites such as burgers, sandwiches, and premiums steaks, while also incorporating a mix of flavor profiles and cuisines from around the world.
“I wanted to create a menu that feels familiar of what you expect from a sports lounge like wings and burgers, while also taking it up a notch by adding some unique spins on dishes you won’t find anywhere else – like our Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls or a banh mi flatbread,” says Laquet. “We’ll also offer larger format entrees like premium steaks and a 14-ounce pork chop for our carnivorous guests, as well as lighter options like salads and soups. Whether you’re ordering off our menu from the STN Sportsbook next door, or dining with us for an evening of entertainment, the expansive menu gives a range of options and price points to match any vibe.”
The menu will feature a weekend brunch, daily lunch and dinner and a robust drink menus of craft cocktails, beers and wines:
