Las Vegas (Oct 5th 2022) The Problem Solver Show will produce a television segment and podcast talking about the injustice of women in Iran on Thursday Oct 6th at 5:30 PM at Sticky Paws Studios, located at 6445 W. Sunset rd Suite 142 Las Vegas. The TV show will host a local Iranian in the community to speak about the unrest and protests in the streets of Iran over the recent death of a 22 year old woman, Mahsa Amini.
The anti-government protests, which began at the 22 year old Mahsa Amini’s funeral on Sept 17th in the Kurdish town of Saqez, have spiraled into the largest show of opposition to Iran’s authorities in years, with many calling for the end of more than 40 years of Isalmic clerical rule.
David Kohlmeier, a retired police officer and also known as The Problem Solver says that women in Iran are cutting their hair as a form of protest. In the Iranian culture, the practice of cutting hair off is a symbol of mourning and a symbol of protest.
Men and women from the community can join us at the Sticky Paws Studio to cut their own hair as an act of solidarity to protest the injustice for women and the death of Mahsa Amini.
The Problem Solver Show wanted to take this to a local level by showcasing their support for Mahsa Amini and asking the community to join us during our live show to cut their hair at exactly 5:30 PM on October 6 @ Sticky Paws Studios.
Sticky Paws Studio is located at 6445 W Sunset Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89118
