The Dinosaur Outpost Name the T-Rex contest has hit the final stretch. After collecting names on its website for the past month, the public can now vote for one of five options on the Dinosaur Outpost Facebook page.
Voting ends on May 29, and the winner will be announced on June 1, National Dinosaur Day, at Dinosaur Outpost, 6569 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Suite 173.
“We received more than 200 name suggestions and now it’s up to our loyal guests and the general public to pick from the final five options so that we can finally give our friendly T-Rex a name,” said Tim Clothier, Dinosaur Outpost founder. “Before you cast your vote, we highly recommend visiting Dinosaur Outpost to experience our T-Rex’s personality first-hand.”
After opening in April, thousands of dino-curious guests have visited Dinosaur Outpost, a hands-on, interactive experience where little explorers and their families enter a time portal to visit prehistoric eras. There, they dig for fossils, take a ride alongside a rumbling volcano, feed and play with dinosaurs, and even try to train one of their new prehistoric friends!
