CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada, Arizona and California Properties recognized for leadership and industry innovationLAS VEGAS– Troy Reierson, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway’s HomeServices Nevada, Arizona and California Properties has been selected as one of this year’s 100 honorees for HousingWire’s Vanguard Awards. The award recognizes executives in the housing economy for their contributions to the industry as well as valuable leadership and expertise to their companies.
Reierson’s recognition stems from his commitment to adopting innovative business models while prioritizing the needs of nearly 3,000 team members. Under his leadership, the company has significantly expanded its community service initiatives, hosting fundraisers and supporting local non-profits. He has also introduced new real estate school programs, providing agents with flexible night classes to further their education while managing their busy schedules.
“I would have never been able to get to where I am now without the support of my incredible team,” said Reierson. “Stepping into this role comes with great responsibility, and my priority is to ensure every agent feels valued and appreciated as we work together to elevate the company to its full potential.”
Reierson’s leadership has also driven the company’s significant physical expansion, including the opening of a mega office. These new spaces are designed to foster a supportive and productive environment for both clients and team members.
Reflecting on his journey, Reierson shared a key principle that has guided his leadership. “The best piece of advice I ever received was to control the controllables,” said Reierson. “In an environment and industry that is ever-changing and often out of our control, it’s easy to be guided down a path that will never get you to where you need to be. By focusing on what you can control and letting go of what you can’t, you remove many unnecessary roadblocks.”
