U.S. News & World Report has ranked Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas’ (CASLV) Sandy Ridge campus as the best charter school in Nevada, and in the top 5 of high schools in the state. According to the report, which evaluates nearly 18,000 schools nationwide including 164 high schools in the state, Sandy Ridge ranked #1 best charter school in Nevada and #1 best high school in Henderson. The campus also ranked #4 best high school in the Las Vegas Valley and #5 overall best high school in Nevada.

High School students at CASLV have the opportunity of taking a variety of Advanced Placement®(AP) coursework and exams. Most recently they achieved an 82% record high success rate at AP Exams according to the data received from College Board. Both the achievement rate and the number of AP exams taken have continued to rise over the years. They can transfer these AP courses to the college they will attend after graduating from CASLV.
The U.S. News & World Report Best High School Rankings are evaluated by several factors which include reading and math proficiency scores.
