LAS VEGAS (July 16, 2025) – United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) is proud to announce that 16 local organizations have been awarded UWSN’s Community Impact Grants for 2025-2026. Staying true to their mission of uniting the community to improve people’s lives, the UWSN Community Impact Grant Program funds local nonprofits dedicated to helping students reach their potential, providing accessible workforce pathways, and supporting household stability.
“Our Community Impact Grants fuel the important work of local nonprofits driving lasting change in Southern Nevada. Through a thoughtful and collaborative review process, community volunteers help us ensure these investments align with our community’s priorities,” said Samuel Rudd, President and CEO of UWSN, “United is the way we create opportunity and strengthen lives across our region.”
Serving communities in Clark County such as Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, as well as Lincoln and Nye Counties, UWSN’s Community Impact program partners provide essential Student Success, Workforce Development, and Community Supports programs. This is just one of the many ways UWSN invests in our region, contributing over $17M last year through programs like UWSN’s Employee Crisis Funds, Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee Grant Program, Nevada Ready! State Pre-K Program, Project REACH, and many more.
Each recipient was evaluated by over 40 community volunteers on UWSN’s Funding Review Committee, through a rigorous application and review process. The full list of Community Impact Grant Program recipients is available at uwsn.org/cipartners.
