United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) is proud to announce that 16 local organizations have been awarded UWSN Community Impact Grants for the 2026–2027 funding cycle. The grants support nonprofits working to expand youth opportunities, strengthen financial security, build a healthier community, and increase community resiliency across the region. The Community Impact Grant program operates on an annual cycle, allowing UWSN to reassess community needs and direct funding where it’s needed most each year.

It takes all of us,” said Samuel Rudd, President & CEO of UWSN. “The need across Southern Nevada keeps growing, and this funding helps make sure our partners can rise to meet it. This is what it looks like when we build a more resilient Southern Nevada, together.”
UWSN’s Community Impact Program partners serve communities throughout Clark, Lincoln, Esmeralda, and Nye counties, helping young people succeed in school and beyond, connecting families to resources that build financial stability, improving access to health and wellness services, and providing hands-on support for families navigating unexpected hardship.
This program is one part of UWSN’s larger commitment to Southern Nevada. Over the past year, UWSN invested more than $18 million across the region through initiatives including the Community Impact Grants, Employee Crisis & Relief Funds, Pre-K for Nevada, Project REACH, United Readers, and more. These 16 organizations now join a network of more than 100 partners serving families across the region.
Over the past 12 months, UWSN and its partners distributed:
- 28,100+ economic stability resources, financial literacy kits, and professional clothing items
- 8,000+ educational resources and school supply kits
- 20,800+ health and wellness resources and kits
- 15,200+ crisis support resources and emergency preparedness kits
Each Community Impact Grant recipient was evaluated by more than 40 community volunteers serving on UWSN’s Funding Review Committee through a rigorous application and review process.
