LAS VEGAS – United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) is pleased to announce the promotion of Janet Quintero to Chief Strategy and Advocacy Officer. In this expanded leadership role, Janet will continue to oversee the organization’s External Affairs department, which has been enhanced by the addition of two vital positions: a Government Grant Administrator and a Coalition Builder.
“Janet’s promotion is a key moment for UWSN as we embark on our next phase of growth and impact,” said Samuel Rudd, President and CEO of UWSN. “Her leadership will enable us to create a more intentional alignment between our goals, values, and execution strategies.”
In the next 100 days, Quintero will conduct a thorough review of current programs, projects, and initiatives to ensure they align with UWSN’s key functions and organizational goals.
Quintero has played a pivotal role in strengthening UWSN’s advocacy, public policy, and community engagement efforts since joining the organization in 2018. Her new role builds on that foundation to expand UWSN’s reach and deepen its impact.
