Vegas PBS will host its highly anticipated 2026 gala, Stories That Shape Us, on Thursday, April 16 from 6–10 p.m. at The Industrial. The annual event will bring together Southern Nevada’s leaders, changemakers and community supporters for an inspiring evening of storytelling, celebration and philanthropy.
Stories That Shape Us honors individuals whose vision and leadership continue to shape Las Vegas into a vibrant, world-class community. This year’s distinguished honorees include Dr. Dylan Wint of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, Clark County School District Superintendent Jhone Ebert, and Myron Martin, President and CEO of The Smith Center for the Performing Arts—each representing the critical pillars of healthcare, education and the arts.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with an immersive outdoor reception featuring interactive experiences, curated cuisine and engaging activations that reflect the creativity and spirit of Southern Nevada. Guests will then move into a dynamic main program at 7 p.m., hosted by acclaimed entertainer John Di Domenico, featuring powerful storytelling, live performances and memorable moments that highlight Vegas PBS’s role as a connector and storyteller for the community.
A highlight of the evening will be the fully digital silent auction, offering exclusive experiences, luxury travel packages, entertainment opportunities and one-of-a-kind collectibles. Proceeds will directly support Vegas PBS’s educational services, local storytelling and community initiatives—especially critical as public media continues to navigate shifting federal funding landscapes.

The program will also feature original video storytelling showcasing each honoree’s impact, along with live performances and a closing outdoor after-party designed to foster continued connection and celebration.
