United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) will host the Women United Fashion Show Luncheon, presented by Light & Wonder, on Friday, March 27 at 11:00 AM at AREA15. This year’s event celebrates the 18th Annual Women United Suit Drive, which collected nearly 25,000 professional clothing items and accessories to empower local women entering or returning to the workforce.
Before the fashion show begins, guests can visit the Sip N Shop in the Area15 A-Lot, featuring a variety of interactive experiences, including:
- Boutique shopping featuring fashionable clothing and accessories, with proceeds benefiting programs that empower women and families
- Silent auction with exclusive items and experiences, including a Venetian Resort staycation, private dinner at the Rita Deanin Abbey Museum, a Club Wyndham Kauai vacation, and more
- Portrait photography, caricature artist, lipstick print reader, and themed photo opportunities
- Signature cocktails and wine pull experience
The Fierce & Fearless Fashion Show, held in the immersive Portal at AREA15, will feature suit drive donation recipients as models and spotlight their stories of resilience. The program will highlight how access to professional attire helps women prepare for interviews, secure employment, and build long-term financial stability. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a paddle drop for a luxury Palms staycation, which includes a two-night suite, dining and cabana credits, and a table at Ghostbar.
“The Women United Fashion Show Luncheon celebrates the power of our community coming together to support women and families,” said Samuel Rudd, President & CEO of United Way of Southern Nevada. “Through the collective efforts of Women United, the Suit Drive provides essential resources and opens doors for Southern Nevadans to pursue pathways to financial security.”
“Light & Wonder is proud to support Women United,” said Andy Fouché, Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Communications at Light & Wonder. “What this group is doing in Southern Nevada truly matters. When women have the support and resources to lead, entire families and communities benefit. Being part of the Fashion Show Luncheon is our way of standing behind the women who are coming together to make real change happen.”
