In advance of tomorrow’s St. Jude Walk at Craig Ranch Regional Park to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital ®, WOW Carwash announced that as the top local corporate fundraiser, the Vegas-born business has raised more than $50,000 for the event.
The $50,000-plus was raised from Guest (customer) donations made onsite when purchasing a car wash since July 1 and includes a $10,000 corporate contribution from WOW Carwash. More than 28,000personal contributions were made to support the charity event held annually for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September.
WOW Carwash has supported the St. Jude Walk since 2019 with more than 250 Team Members (WOW employees) participating over the years.
At tomorrow’s event, WOW Carwash will have a toy car wash station for children who will use toy cars, colored foam soap, and wash bins to “wash” the cars. Also at the WOW Carwash tent, the company will provide “Official Clean Team” temporary tattoos for kids and WOW swag for walkers.
Since first participating in the walk in 2019, WOW Carwash will have raised and donated more than $150,000.
