The Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) is gearing up for its 90th event, Cards Up for Scarlet & Gray: an electrifying evening of poker, philanthropy, and Rebel pride—all in support of the UNLV Alumni Association. The event will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at The M Resort in Las Vegas.
Guests will enjoy a high-energy night featuring a charity poker tournament, silent auction, 50/50 cash raffle, cocktail hour, and opportunities to win big while making a meaningful impact. With a guaranteed prize pool of $5,000 cash and more than $10,000 in donated prizes, players of all skill levels are invited to take their seats, raise the stakes, and support a mission that connects and engages UNLV’s more than 155,000 alumni worldwide.
President and Founder of the Charity Series of Poker Matt Stout, who has more than $9 million in lifetime tournament winnings, will be hosting a free poker lesson from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for players who will be participating in the event. Players who don’t wish to play in the poker tournament can still support the event during the cocktail hour for a $100 donation.
The $200 tournament buy-in includes a starting stack of 10,000 chips, two drink tickets, and a delicious selection of appetizers. The evening begins with a cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by tournament play kicking off at 7:00 p.m. Players will also have the opportunity to make $100 rebuys and add-ons during the first two hours.
A star-studded lineup is expected, including Jay Wasley and Aaron Goodwin of Ghost Adventures fame and “Fat Mike” Burkett, lead singer of the punk band NOFX. The night will be hosted by famed poker personality Joey Ingram, who will serve as emcee.
Guests can purchase tickets, make donations, and bid on silent auction items from anywhere in the world by visiting www.charityseriesofpoker.org/unlvaa90.
Don’t miss your chance to Play. Bid. Win. Give Back.
Secure your seat today and be part of a night filled with big wins — and an even bigger impact.
