As student-athletes prepare to return to the field, court, and classroom, Estetica Wellness is helping families get game-day ready by offering complimentary sports physicals and electrocardiogram (EKG) screenings during a Back-to-School Student Athlete Event on Saturday, July 11, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Estetica Wellness, 7660 W. Sahara Ave.
Led by Dr. Lisa Zia, Concierge Pediatrician, the event is designed to provide convenient access to essential pre-participation physicals while promoting heart health and early detection of underlying cardiac conditions that may otherwise go unnoticed.
Sports physicals are required by many schools and youth sports organizations before student-athletes can participate in practices and competition. In addition to receiving a comprehensive sports physical, attendees will also have access to a free EKG screening, an important tool that can help identify certain heart abnormalities.
