The EmployNV Business/Career Hub is partnering with the Henderson Chamber of Commerce to host a General & Advanced Manufacturing Hiring Event on Wednesday, October 12, in honor of National Manufacturing Week (October 7 to October 14, 2022).
Manufacturing is an in-demand industry in Southern Nevada that offers job seekers careers with growth opportunities and high earning potential.
During the hiring event, hiring managers will speak one-on-one with job seekers about potential positions such as CNC Machinists/Operators, Maintenance Technicians, Control/Quality Assurance Assemblers, Material Handlers, and Engineers. Entry-level positions are also available.
Job seekers are encouraged to pre-register for the event at www.nvcareercenter.org/manufacturing-hiring to receive reminders and updates.

A regional industry sector partnership focusing on the needs of general & advanced manufacturing in Southern Nevada was launched in April of 2022. It includes sector employers, Workforce Connections, Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation, Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance, Vegas Chamber, Henderson Chamber of Commerce, Clark County School District, College of Southern Nevada, Nevada State College, University of Nevada-Las Vegas and other partners. The sector partnership’s goal is to help employers address recruitment, training and retention challenges and accelerate the growth of highly skilled, high-wage jobs in Southern Nevada.
