Guests Can Enjoy Events Daily at the Beloved Holiday Light Experience
LAS VEGAS (November 8, 2024) Bringing Christmas cheer for 24 years, Glittering Lights offers something for everyone to enjoy! Las Vegas’ award-winning drive-through holiday spectacular at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway returns tonight, Friday, November 8, 2024, and offers special events and activations happening nightly through Sunday, January 5, 2025.
From appreciation nights offering free tickets, to opportunities to see the course by bike or by ATV/UTV, a pet costume contest, and even an east-coast NYE countdown complete with fireworks, Glittering Lights will be bustling with holiday entertainment all season long. Special nights and appearances include:
Free Nights
Glittering Lights is giving back to the community with special free nights for those who serve and inspire. From veterans and military personnel to teachers and first responders, these nights offer complimentary admission as a thank-you for their dedication. Plus, powersports enthusiasts can enjoy a night out with a toy donation for Toys for Tots—spreading joy throughout the holiday season.
- 11.11 – Veterans Appreciation Night powered by Verizon
Veterans and their families will be admitted with free entry with VIC ID (Veteran Identification Card) or DAV ID card (Disabled American Veterans ID). - 11.18 – Military Appreciation Night powered by Verizon
Free entry for all active and inactive military/families with valid ID. - 11.19 – Teacher Appreciation Night presented by BlvdHome
Teachers and their families enjoy free entry with their ID - 11.20 – ATV/UTV Powersports Night powered by Bob Moses Ceramic Coating
Bring your ATV, UTV, or any powersports vehicle and a $15 new, unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots drive to receive complimentary entry to Nevada’s largest holiday drive-thru light show. The Marine Corps will be on site collecting toys. - 11.21 – First Responders Night presented by Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas
First responders including EMTs, firefighters, and police officers are welcome to drive through Glittering Lights free of charge. For admission, guests must show proof of service ID. - 1.5.25 – Teachers Back-to-School Bash powered by Verizon
Teachers and their families receive complimentary entry with valid ID. - Special Ticket Nights
Get ready for a season of dazzling fun at Glittering Lights with special ticket nights that bring added magic to the experience. From kindness and festive Santa photo ops to unique bicycle nights and an early New Year’s celebration, these events are perfect for everyone looking to enjoy the holiday spirit. - 11.13 – World Kindness Day presented by Anthem Injury Lawyers
It’s cool to be kind with Glittering Lights! The first 200 paid vehicles entering the experience will receive a free ticket for future use in honor of the day of kindness. This gifted ticket has no restrictions – guests are encouraged to pass it on and share the love! - 11.13, 11.29-12.1, 12.3-12.23 – Living Nativity
Local churches, organizations, and family/friend groups, bring the story of the first Christmas to life through the Living Nativity. - 11.17 – PJ 5K hosted by Speedway Children’s Charities Las Vegas Chapter
The 5K Run and 1-mile Walk through Glittering Lights is from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Santa Tram, driven by Silver State Schools Credit Union, is an open-air tram ride through the holiday lights. Guests are dashed to the front of the line while snuggled up close to family and friends. With a decked-out Santa Tram Station, guests will enjoy the festive décor and access to Santa Claus for all the family holiday photos, play a few games, ride the mini-train and chill out with hot cocoa and snacks. Santa Tram will also be available 11.30, 12.5-12.7, 2.13-12.14, & 12.18-12.23 - 12.7 – Bicycle Night at Lights
Grab your two-wheeled bike and peddle your way through the lights. Tickets, $15 for adults, $10 for children, must be bought online by 3:30 p.m. on December 7. All cyclists must enter gates by 4:30 p.m., no entry will be allowed after this time. - 12.8 – Meet the Vegas Thrill
- Las Vegas’ Pro Volleyball Federation Team, Vegas Thrill, will host a ribbon cutting and meet & greet to celebrate the addition of their logo in lights to the Sports Alley display.
- 12.31 – Ring in 2025 – lit up by Garden State Fireworks

This year, Glittering Lights is adding extra holiday fun with exciting contest nights. Show off your pet’s festive flair or get creative with car decorations for a chance to win prizes and be part of the holiday magic. - 12.6 – Pet Costume Contest at Santa Tram – presented by Loyalty Plumbing
Calling all pets and their humans for a special contest where awards will be given out to the most festive pets and a special “Buddy’s Choice” award chosen by none other than Buddy, Loyalty Plumbing’s mascot. Free pet treats will be handed out courtesy Veterinary Emergency Group Boca Park. Registration starts at 6 p.m. and judging takes place at 7:30 p.m. at Santa Tram. - 12.12 – Decorate Your Car Night – Get creative and deck out your car for a chance to win exciting prizes. Simply drive through Nevada’s premier holiday light show at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and have your car’s photo taken at the gate to enter the contest. Plus, the first 200 cars receive a Terrible’s free car wash.

Glittering Lights is open daily, from 5-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5-10 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays. Santa Tram driven by Silver State Schools Credit Union and FastPass powered by Diamondback Land Surveying begins Friday, November 29. An Early Bird Special gives guests $10 off when they are in line before 6 p.m. every night! Tickets for the entire carload are priced at:

- Season Pass $129 for two vehicles
- Fast Pass $64 per car or truckload
- Santa Tram $25 per person
